Redneck repair.
I remember this as a kid. The landlord was being really cheap about the roof repairs.
Just poke a hole in the side of the bucket. That way, it’ll never fill up. (Just as smart as not repairing a leaky roof.)
If you ignore it long enough the house will fall down. Problem solved.
I have a hose reel outside which leaks. I put a 5 gallon bucket under it and use it for watering cans and such.
that’s easier… and less expensive, for now anyways. ;)
well don’t use flex seal seal. doesn’t work in water like they say
