Who cares if you don’t catch anything?

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.

Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day drinking beer.

Perfect for the fish, too.

Fishing……..it’s never about catching.

If you want to get away from it all…

It’s not about what you actually catch, it’s the anticipation.

For me, that is a perfect…waste of time!!

I suppose if those small black lines are a school of fish attracted to the port side of the boat, it might have been a less than perfect idea for the guy to sink his fishing line over the stern side of the boat!

Do B. C. and Thor live together in the cave? Would be a nice thought.

With enough beer, it might just work.

He caught a rejuvenating day of peace and quiet.

I caught two fish at once once… er… that didn’t sound right… Let me try again. I once caught two fish at once. I seem to have interrupted the bigger fish’s lunch.

Fishing vs Watching Golf. Both are boring as watching paint dry.

Had a friend catch a musky on his first cast. He took off the lure, put on only a weight, said it was a great day on the water.

I’ve always said, if you think the point of fishing is to catch fish, you are missing the point.

As live said about myself. “I don’t fish and I don’t golf, so what’s the sense of retiring?”

It is a good sport and hobby.

There are too few perfect days left for fishing. Get them while you can.

no catch or even sunburned… nice day indeed.

I don’t like cleaning fish either.

You get to have a quiet day on the water with nobody bothering you. Not a bad way to spend the day.

My lifetime fishing experience in way less than 1,000 words. Today, driving 2.5 hours to a fish fry with family.

The sun, a calm sea and no one to bother you. A perfect day.

Relaxing and calming. Physical activity to the limit.

Right. The fishing was perfect. The catching was somewhat less so.

To fish or not to fish; that is dissection.

The whole point of fishing (for a lot of people) is to do nothing all day with a good excuse.

This is why I always Fly Fished …… can’t just sit plug fishing or even trolling …… had to be doing some action ……. :)

A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work anytime.I have been known to “forget” to put a hook and bait on from time to time just to enjoy sitting under a tree and soak in the solitude. I feel the need now to pursue this idea…Later!

Done that plenty of times in Montana, usually accompanied with beer.

A quiet day. Nothing better in these crazy times.
