dunno about you but … i call it “fair”.

That figures.

His generosity knows no boundaries.

Why is that double note backwards??

Divorce him Flo.

Don’t want to get her drunk could be unhealthy.

It’s sharing but not sharing evenly as Flo expected.

Why am I not surprised?

if that was given to my mother…it would knock her out & she would be sleeping…and of course if that was given to me…my mother would say “that’s enough for you, you don’t need more”…to this day,i can HONESTLY say that i have never been drunk…just buzzed…

My mother’s lesson stands. When one person divides food or drink, the other person chooses their portion.

He does love her, he’s making the ultimate sacrifice for her.

Just helping her watch her weight, I’m pretty sure that there low calorie beer is not available in the Capp household..

Let’s face it, nobody ever accused Andy of being fair, honest, helpful or hardworking. I guess you can say he is reliable in an off hand sort of way.

I have now made an appearance on NHS Organ Donation’s Facebook page proudly holding my Organ Donor card along with two other women, Lauren and Paula.

To say I’m proud and honoured is an understatement!

We had a rule in my family about that. One person divides, the other one chooses.

Gotta give Andy props for sharing.

Looks like Andy’s half is bigger than Flo’s. Well, she didn’t ask him to divide it evenly. By the way, did you ever notice that when someone says that life isn’t fair, they’re really just trying to get away with doing horrible things? I wouldn’t be surprised if some scumbag used that as an excuse for murder.

Don’t take what he offers. Take the large one, Flo.

Made me think of the antique German wedding cup my parents saved, which thrilled me when I was a kid—I’d insist on their using it on their wedding anniversary every year, to confirm their partnership. It’s a partially hollow silver figurine, of a lady in a wide embroidered skirt—that part is filled with wine and used (by the groom) as a drinking horn, while the miniature urn/cauldron/flowerpot she carries over her head on a frame swings in its fittings, so that it can be filled and sipped from (by the bride)—yes, at the same time, meaning both must tilt the vessels carefully and with mutual awareness. Like marriage, it requires teamwork and flexibility. Not equal shares, though: one part holds maybe half a cup, and the other closer to a spoonful.

They should have the rule about sharing that many households do: one person does the dividing and the other person gets to choose which portion they want first.
