Ahhh, cool… it’s one of those Bugs Bunny elevators! Horace seems to stumble across the coolest of the elevators! I always wanted to ride one of those, but I never can find ‘em!
Wait a minute! The buttons appear on the right side of the elevator this time. Does that mean: 1) We are looking at the reflection in the mirror-wall opposite the elevator doors? 2) There is a second building with the same kind of weird elevators? For that matter, do we even know that the magic elevator is the same one every time, or are they all different?? Inquiring minds want to know.
You just gotta love that Yong Thulhu company. Horace works in an Escher building only they get that kind of stairs and elevators from that company. Just as their home base of Yian-Ho on the fabled plateau of Leng in its multidimensional state. Learned from their progenitors the KÚTÙLLÛ who are experts at dimensional shuffling. Only the ancient Ramachandrans, a previous advanced human society learned how to 100,000 or so years ago.
Okay, it took me a day to get it, but the elevator is bending with the floor indicator dial on top. Normally it’s a good thing that I don’t drink coffee in the morning.

Just when we think we’ve seen every elevator gag there is, Samson puts a new slant on it.

When Samson runs out of elevator gags, then maybe Horace will start taking the stairs. Brace yourselves for some Escher gags.
