isn’t it just a case of “her father put her in a private school” dad should have reported it to the office so they don’t mark her as absent and call CPS
Like many schools mine sells these tall frames with a mat with two windows. The bottom one is for the diploma and the top one is for an 8×10 photo of an iconic on-campus location: In our case, the building where the college’s top administration have their offices.
The back of the building is rather grandiose and opens up onto a very expansive lawn that goes back for quite a ways before reaching a cliff. Stand at the edge and you get an elevated view of much of the campus. The front of the building is pretty meh, and the most prominent feature of the surrounding terrain is a perfectly ordinary driveway. The photo included when you buy the frame is a picture of the front of the building, with flat colors and bog-standard composition.
I recently took the frame off the wall to move it to another room. When I did I noticed that somehow—and this is a great mystery—the photo had a long tear in it. Then I noticed just how uninteresting the picture really is and decided the tear gave me a reason to make a change. I dug around on my hard drive to find a picture I’d taken of the rear lawn one day when I was in the neighborhood some years ago. I happened to have my camera and decided to do a photo shoot. I had a zoomed-in shot of the rear porch of the building, which served as the stage during the commencement ceremony—the very spot where I received my diploma in the first place. I punched it up with my photo editing software, printed an enlargement at Walgreens, and swapped the old picture out before rehanging the frame. I keep being struck by how much of an improvement that is (if I do say so myself).

Have daddy take it to school for you. Add an extra layer of humiliation.

This reminds me of the TV show, “The Office”. Michael Scott has a framed Certificate of Authenticity for a wristwatch hanging on his wall.

Dog’s life is shorter than human’s… why shorten it with that stunt. Run, Snoopy, run.

If you’ve got it, flaunt it.

If you don’t want to take the diploma out of the frame, then just take the whole frame with you to show it.

Good grief!

If PP bought the frame, I wonder where she got the money…if her father did, I wonder why he didn’t notice where the diploma came from…

That is some frame.

There it is! Hanging up on the I Love Me Wall aka ILMW (not associated with Industrial Light and Magic) just as I predicted.

Do Marcie’s parents have a sign on the front fence gate that says “Beware: Trained attack daughter?”

It’s sweet that she’s so proud of her accomplishment.

Snoopy may have given her the flyer, but I blame the obedience school themselves for actually allowing her to go through with it.
