How sweet of the two of you. That you have given Kate her Treat(?), go back to bed.

When I was a kid, Beggar’s Night was on October 30.

Good thing it was treat and not a trick.

Of course, they know their job is to wake up their human, and be so adorable at it.

“Boomp!” And do dogs really never learn not to chew? Of course, SIrius IS pretty young yet…

Teamwork! A coordinated “attack.”

Such happy faces. Well, two out of three happy faces.

Floof reminds me of my tuxedo lady, Gardenia, who was with us for roughly 23 years – when she thought it was time for me to wake up, she had an attack plan that escalated from the STARE, to gentle pats on the face (delivered with increasing amounts of claws), then on to stand on tender joints with 1,000 psi pressure for each paw; if those failed, she would burrow under the blanket and put a very precisely-aimed COLD nose against the very center of my back. That last step was brutal and never failed to achieve her goal.

Just too sweet!

The family labrador, when I’m around, wakes you up by licking your face and then puts his head on top: signal for “I need to take care of my morning business”. Then will come back and get in your bed and get comfortable before you had a chance to get back. Eventually he let’s you slide him a bit, but you end up in the edge.

Hi Nancy! I just found you. Now I will start from the beginning and probably get nothing else done today. My feline babies are Scooter and Oskar ;-D

Last panel: Floof is right, but I’m guessing Kate would have preferred their “treat” sometime after dawn.
