This cartoon hit home for me. We had someone watch our dog while we were at our daughter’s wedding. She ran away from the petsitter and was lost over 12 days. She traveled well over 16 miles in unfamiliar territory. As soon as we got home from the wedding, we all took off in different directions searching for her. We hired a dog tracker who set traps and gave us advice of what not to do. We live in PA and after days of her not being spotted, we hired search dogs from VA. After 12 days of climbing through sticker bushes and rough terrain and almost $1000 later, she walked into Walmart and was found in the deli department!

I need to go to the Walmart pharmacy to pick up my prescription but the dog won’t let me in. Now I’ll never get my pills to treat my procrastination!

It’s still amazing how Hades would trust a random mortal to walk his dog!

I think I spotted Cerberus at the DMV. There was a LOT of wailing and gnashing of teeth! :)
