Years ago, off to the side of my yard, I placed a small irreparable John Deere lawn tractor on top of a large rock. It looks pretty cool and people know where I live when I tell them it’s the house with the tractor on the rock. This past summer, another John Deere tractor I’ve had for thirty years also died. So, for Halloween I took this 2nd mower and placed it on top of a large rock I have directly in front of the house…..but with one little difference. I positioned the tractor so it looks like it has fallen off the rock onto a person and he’s pinned underneath. It has given people a good laugh….and at least one person came back to make sure it wasn’t me under the mower. Monty and I would make good neighbors!

As a kid, I found some HO scale track in someone’s trash. I figured I’d run the train at full speed anyway, so why bother with the transformer/speed control? Took an old lamp cord, hooked one wire to one track, one to the other track. Put the engine on the tracks and plugged her in. Similar results.

You put the right wire in, you put the left wire out, and you tape it all about. I guess the breaker didn’t break.

I may be wrong, but I think he made it worse. :D

And this demonstrates why a GFCI should always be used when playing with wires on a damp lawn.

This has been a safety message from the Panda Safety Commission … and don’t run with scissors.
