I’ll take one of those, I think it’ll fit in the back yard and I can use the street for a runway. I hope I’m tall enough to see out the canopy.

I hope it has heat seeking missiles on board, otherwise you’re never going to hit them.

Is this the one the Air Force lost a few weeks ago? (I mean, they found the crash site eventually, but I doubt Stantis knew that when he was drawing this.)

Let’s see, we give a used F-16 (originally purchased from McDonnell Douglas for a profit) to Ukraine so they can defend against Soviet invasion and we replace that plane with a new F-18 at MSRP of $65M (also purchased from McDonnell Douglas) and who is getting a gift??? I’d say McDonnell Douglas and its shareholders are the ones who need to be thanking the US taxpayer.

This reminds me of that fighter jet that was lost after the pilot ejected “because of the weather.” I haven’t read anything more about that, and am really curious. They’ll probably say it’s all classified, and we won’t never know what caused all that to happen.
