I couldn’t resist. I’ve just bought my copy of “Here Comes the Silly Bus” from Am*z*n. 2-5 years, it says, and I’m 58! ☺ ☺Have a nice Sunday, Crackers ⭐

I know a place (L.D.) where Cheezy can go where he wont hear it. LOL !

I LOVE reading this in my “reading aloud” voice. Plus I adore poems and limericks.

I can be silly at times, but I wonder if I’m silly enough to ride that bus?

Today is:

GOLD STAR MOTHER’S AND FAMILY DAY. On the last Sunday in September, Gold Star Mother’s and Family Day honors the mothers, fathers, and families of fallen military service members. Also known as National Gold Star Mother’s Day, the day serves as a reminder of the losses suffered by military families. A gold star symbolizes a family member who died in the line of duty while serving the United States Armed Forces.

Since World War I, the observance has provided a way to recognize and honor those who have lost a son or daughter who served our country in the United States Armed Forces.

INNERGIZE DAY. Since fall has officially arrived, it’s time to shift gears. The fast pace of summer activities passes by now. Languid autumn days provide tranquil sunsets and peaceful moments. These are the times to focus on your personal well-being. Do things you enjoy that make you feel good about yourself. Let stress and worry fade away for the day.

SCHWENKFELDER THANKSGIVING. The Schwenkfelders are the descendants of a small Protestant sect that sprang up in Germany around the time of the Reformation. They were followers of Caspar Schwenkfeld, a theologian. He and his followers separated from Protestant circles and formed the brotherhoods that still survive as the Schwenkfelder Church. Most Schwenkfelders now live in Pennsylvania Dutch country. In 1733, a handful of Schwenkfelder’s followers arrived in Philadelphia. A second group came from Germany on September 22, 1734. They swore their allegiance to the British king; then they spent September 24th expressing their thankfulness to God for having delivered them from persecution.

NATIONAL PUNCTUATION DAY. Punctuation seems to be a lost art. I see so many people posting things on Facebook with no punctuation at all.

That gruff guy who’s not silly enough reminds me of a certain sourpuss. If Chesney doesn’t like the story, he doesn’t have to listen. (Doubt that will stop him and his big mouth, though.) On another note, saw a chickadee, four dragonflies, seven juncos, two robins, a rabbit, two sparrows, two spotted towhees, and a wren while out walking today.
