Who here hates doing their assignments at night?

You do it on the bus the next day on your way to school.

It’s STILL a ridiculous assignment for a first-grader—even a gifted one!!

D’oh!

Well, at least your head will still fit on the pillow.

Poor Calvin gets mom blocked at the last minute.

He can always explain that the T-Rex ate his homework..

this is when I started praying for a snow day.

For the true artist, time often passes without outside interruptions until the work is finished. With Cal, it barely gets started.

Just hand in all the fab pix of T Rex and go for a Graphic Novel, Calvin.

Oh, dear, Calvin. Now that paper will never get written.

Calvin had plenty of time to write the paper, but chose not to. He deserves the results.

Calvin’s true gift is his innate ability to joyously squander time without an ounce of awareness.

For shame Mom! You’d send Calvin to bed before he did his homework?

…guaranteed a good grade. Not so fast there, genius.

Poor Hobbes, he does TRY to discipline Calvin… but to no avail.

Another person who works hard to not work at all.

Just caption the drawings….like a comic strip.

Why not just use the brain enhancer again?

Well, it’s not like the brain enhancement really existed in the point of view where Hobbes is just a stuffed animal!

Everything Calvin knows about a T-rex or everything he THINKS he knows? There is a difference.

As I’ve mentioned before, Mark Twain (or some other wit) once observed “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”

Much of what Calvin knows just ain’t so.

Calvin is well on his way to becoming a great cartoonist.
