Ooh! That is nasty !

It said home-cooking.

“Take it back to Alice in the kitchen. It’s not what I Wanted at Her Restaurant.”

After years of marriage, his taste buds are shot.

“If I wanted that, I would have eaten at home.”

Well, that’s a disappointment. Home cooking at a restaurant should not be taken literally.

Adding salt and pepper usually helps

That good, huh???

Should have gone to Moms Place.

Of course it does. She’s the short order cook here.

I loved my mother’s home cooking. Often wished I could get it when away from home.

Maybe his wife’s a good cook, and he doesn’t know it.

Guess who they just hired?

The fellow beside me said, “This steak is tough, burnt, and greasy.”

I sai, “Yeah, just like Mama always cooked.” Then I dug in.

(I had them convinced she was a bad cook.)

Otherwise, why would I come here….
