They’re so evil that they’ve realized telling the protagonist their plans is counterproductive!

(snicker) Love it! Reminds me of the completely insecure and incompetent evil beings in a comic book backup story I once wrote. They had to settle for doing tiny and insignificant bits of wickedness, and they were miserably bad at even those petty annoyances.

Or the huckster reptiles the questing party encountered in the first OTHERWORLD book. Much chanting of ‘eeeevil’ in the interests of hawking their cheap ‘guardian’ trinkets. And, of course, the rest of the tribe LOVED them, as evidenced by the offhand remark, "This morning at breakfast, your mother actually asked me when I was going to DIE.’

They look like minions of Phil, the Prince of Insufficient Light.

Phoebe: “Okay, if you’re so evil, what’s your evil plan?”

Evil 1: “We’re going to mention last week’s story arc!”

Evil 2: “It’ll never ever end, hee-hee-hee!”

But are they the real Evils, or just Evils impersonators?

Little evil dudes! They need to meet a fuzzy evil void cat.

They are also almost terminally adorable. But in an evil way.

I wonder if they’ll stick around for Halloween.

Eevil weevil!

At long last, Phoebe and Marigold (will eventually) have met their ultimate enemies. The final arc of P + her U has begun.

Evil can be cute.

But cute evil.

There is a League of Legends (video game) character named Veigar. One of his voice lines is, “I am evil. STOP LAUGHING.”

I have this line on my phone for texts from my husband.

I am really looking forward to seeing what these guys do!
