Indeed – Happy Birthday, Mr. Peters! It seems like only yesterday you were standing on the ledge outside Gov. Cox’s office at the Dayton Journal Herald/Daily Newson a cold day in your Superman outfit, waiting for the editorial meeting to begin so you could enter through the window and remark, “Sorry I’m late; got held up by air traffic over Cleveland.” (True story.) Humor like that has made you a legend here in Dayton and across the nation!
The very first time I ever saw Mother Goose and Grimm, was from a free book inserted into a bag of dog food. I cracked up, constantly, at their antics, as well as the other characters that were in the book.

We only get the Sunday episode, but it’s always charming.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Peters! It’s encouraging to all of us to see that you can still be going strong, doing cartoons, at 80!
