My youngest daughter had a newt. We had to take it with us on vacation because she couldn’t find a newt-sitter.

National Lampoon only had a legless frog on a wheeled platform outside a restaurant in the 70’s for their “That’s not funny that’s sick!”. Our current victim culture would have the frog sign, instead of “Please help” be “Victim of French Cooking Recipe”. You can freely ‘offend’ Caucasians.

What’s even worse is that’s John Cleese. He was turned into a newt by another witch and this happened before he got better.

Usually the whole newt is thrown in for nutritional purposes.

I’ve read that some people with skills in herbal medicine would use weird terms as code for ingredients to hide their “secret” actual ingredients from being seen by other people (nosy? competitors? or other reason).

Tough week to be a newt.

And his insurance career is over.
