It’s the dawning of a peaceful age – or maybe not.

If nobody gets it, Benson failed as a cartoonist. But since it need a lengthy description to tell us was it means; he is a great modern artist.

Not sure what the artist had in mind.

That is the flag of. Arizona with the copper star replaced by the Star of David. I would guess Steve Benson, who once worked at the Arizona Republic newspaper in Phoenix, is attempting to say Arizonans support Israel.

I was pretty sure it had to do with the flag of Tibet. Does this mean that AZ and Tibet are somehow connected?

I’ve carefully considered all the comments on this image.

Here’s your fun-fact for Friday…Leonard Nimoy was born in 1931 and raised in the West End of Boston . A neighbourhood that no longer exists. His parents were from Ukraine. Go forth and annoy your friends and co-workers with your little fun-fact.

somebody should’ve remarked about japanese language pronunciation. in my experience, that’s the only thing to get ol’ steve worked up enough to reply to readers’ comments… ☺
