As they say in the who**house, it’s been a business doing pleasure with you.

I went in to buy a washer/dryer. It was a task I had been putting off for a couple of months. I knew the exact models I wanted. The dealer had them in stock and it was the one week of the year everything in the store was 25% off.

I told the saleslady I was a little nonplussed. Having prepared to spend half an hour haggling, I was going to have some time on my hands.

“I’ll just have to go somewhere else and haggle. ‘Four dollars for expresso! That’s outrageous’. "
