When I go to the market by myself, I raid. I know exactly what I want and exactly which aisle has each item. I can be in and out in 5 minutes.
When I go with my wife, we play a game. She tells me to go get something and we then play “hide and seek.” Sometimes store personnel see me looking around and ask if they can hlep me find something. I tell them, “female, caucasian, 6 foot 1, gray hair, answers to the name …”
We’ve never been separated so long that her picture showed up on the milk cartons.
