When I take on the leadership of a group. I try to get to know them and for them to know me. So I give them a briefing on my leadership style and how I best communicate and how best to communicate with me. I also give them a list of my weaknesses and ask their help in working with them.
One thing I do brief them on is that I do a lot of aerobic activity (mostly walking) and have developed a large tidal capacity in my lungs. When I sit around the air at the bottom of my lungs gets stale and I sigh to exchange it. I tell them that this is simply a physiological action and that it is not a comment on what’s going on at the moment.
When I am driving, I will sometimes take in a deep, slow breath and then let it out for about a full minute. My wife calls this “Letting the air out of my tires.”

She just doesn’t want to call you a mush-brained, spineless moron (thanks to Loose Parts).

I once bought a book for a friend titled “Everything Men Know About Women”. The pages were all blank.

There’s a whole range of sighs but very few are able to translate them.
