“Your parents had dreams before they had you. And when they had you, that’s all they were: dreams. They had a life before they had you! And you, heh, ruined their lives!” – Christopher Titus, Born With A Defect
Here is a tip Miles, hearing acuity tends to decrease with age. I often startled my mom in her later years when she didn’t hear me come up to her. I now have the same issue and startle easily when someone comes up behind me.
A loooong time ago when I was into playing cowboys and Indians, I ran into the room with my 6-shooter cap guns where my Mom was ironing and said “STICK ’EM UP LADY”!
OMGosh! She threw up her hands and ran off screaming! I was as shocked (at her reaction) as she was!
Eeer…. I must be from a more primitive time, but if I dared calling my mother anything “unusual” I would find myself enjoying the refreshing and delicious taste of soap… different times folks!

Wow! We don’t see colored letters very often in the comics.

Mom’s right. Well, she’s not “all right,” but she’s all right about why she’s not all right.

A mother blaming her son for her weirdness. Go figure.

I’d take that compliment! Yeah I’m weird, what of it? You want normal? No such thing.
