With some rocks, when you break them open, they are pretty inside.

Geodes are beautiful inside, but outside they look like knurly round rocks.

Give Grandpa’s head a little shake- maybe he collect rocks AND thoughts.

Earl rocks… his chair, that is.

Everybody must get stones.

He’ll be collecting a nap before long, because his thoughts escape him

Shepherding his thoughts, and wool-gathering along the way.

Thoughts can be tricky things to find and keep hold of.

Earl’s also a dust collector. The longer he sits in his chair, the more dust he collects. As for me, I collect cat hairs. I have so many, I have to store them everywhere in my house.

Same thing.

Roscoe looks interested in collecting rocks or whatever Nelson is going to do.

Why can’t he just say NAPPING…… it’s SO much easier

You’re probably right, Nelson. Sometimes, collecting thoughts is like herding cats.

At my age, I have a huge collection of thoughts. My problem is one of retrieving them when needed. Sometimes they just randomly fall out of my mouth.

I think most of your thoughts died of loneliness Earl!

He’s trainspotting his trains of thought, but they’re just strings of empty boxcars.

Earl has plenty of rocks already in his head.

Always good to collect them before you share them.

First he has to remember where he put them, before he can collect them.

They must be well river-washed for his Wrist-Rocket.
