good luck seeing his face again after the elections, Andy (if he wins that is)

Someone must have prompted him as to what to say to Andy.

Vote for him Andy, & get on a train to The Rose & Crown.

If the “lad” wins the election, there had better be a nationwide alert to all the rural pubs covered by that new rail line.

Andy’s hopes are going to be railroaded.

I pity all those who get to ride the E train with him after a night of pubbing.( note: with as plastered as he gets, I’m thankful Reg never lets us see him refunding his groceries.)

Never trust a man in purple suit. Higher taxes will pay for those free rides and increase the price of a pint!!

The guy is a dream come true for Andy!

The rural pubs haven’t yet experienced Andy. New places to build up a tab!

Considering the state of the railway system – especially in northern England – I’d guess that the chance of more train lines is about as likely as Andy staying sober.

This one has done his homework…

Andy doesn’t know much about politicians, they’ll promise you anything.

Given Andy’s propensity to late-night swims, I hope the rail line doesn’t have a bridge over the canal.

A government project is going to cost at twice as much as proposed and deliver half the promised benefits.

If I were a boozer (loser) I would vote for that guy in less time it takes to get the top off a bottle.

The UK has an attitude of “Why should the unemployed get everything for free?” That’s not true for a start. They might get things at a reduced price but not completely free. Nothing is completely free. Unfortunately most of the “holier-than-thou” taxpayers have their heads right up their bums and can’t see the woods for the trees. Just no empathy or understanding for people less fortunate than them. There are some unemployed people who are genuinely lazy with no intention of getting a job but they are very much in the minority. Most people are unemployed because of poor circumstances or just rotten luck.

He certainly knows how to get Andy’s vote. Whether he’ll keep his promise is another matter, however.

Promises are easy. Getting the job done in Parliament is another story.

That free travel will come in handy when Flo finally tells Andy to hit the road!
