This day was created as a day to recall and note some of the entirely off-the-wall and ridiculous things in history, in our country, and in our lives.Absurdity Day is also a day to have fun and do crazy, zany, and absurd things. Use the day as an excuse to let out the silly antics hidden inside them. You can do things you have wanted to do that make absolutely no sense at all, and it will be okay because you will be celebrating this National Day.

I was frantic last night before bedtime. Couldn’t find Dudley. Searched 4 floors over and over and back porch too. Nothing. Finally gave up when Mark announced he heard loud scratching upstairs. Dudley must have fallen asleep in the lowest bureau drawer at least 1-2 hours ago when I put a bunch of laundered socks in it. I didn’t see him enter. I did see Sunny leave from a higher drawer but she is black with lower half white and SOOOO fluffy, can’t miss her…while he is all sleek shorthair solid black. Little stinker.
Really, Chesney? If anyone deserves a kitty lounge with a kibble dispenser, it’s Oliver. (Who’s always nice to Annie.) Doubt he would actually ask for it, though. He’d probably be content with a simple hug. On another note, saw a Steller’s jay, two chickadees, six geese, a sparrow, a wren, and a rabbit while out walking today.
QTπ does not have a UTI or pancreatitis. Its neurological.
She is at my vet overnight to stay under observation and get fluids and steroids to bring down any inflammation. Tomorrow after my client in the morning I’m getting her and transporting her to Clackamus to a vet with an mri and a neurologist.

The overnight is going to cost me $2,000.
The mri alone, much less the Dr., will be $2,300
I applied for and got a credit card for vet offices with a max of $2,200
My boss (BOSS!!!) is going to put $600 on the bill in Clackamus.
I have a little les than $300.
The local Humane Society is going to call my vet in the morning and get her info and see how much they can help with. ?$
Ive got a GoFundMe started, but even if that brings in any help, it’s going to be after the bill comes due, so to speak, these vets want cash up front.
And then, there is no telling what is wrong with her and what it’s going to take to fix it.
