11:30 PST and I’m first? Shoot, I suppose I should say something pithy. Um….

Just my daughter and son in law for dinner. My son and grandkids are up in Washington. And my son has a new girlfriend so they won’t travel down here. I used to have a big family, the downside of being almost 86. I’m the last on my mom’s side and I have 2 cousins on my Dad’s side, both older than I. They aren’t going anywhere. I suppose my cousins childres’s children are somewhere, i dont know them. I kind of like not having to do all that cooking.

I’d love to help you, Annie, but I have my own cats to care for, plus some repairs needed on my car.

    Today is:

NATIONAL TIE ONE ON DAY. National Tie One on Day might confuse people with its name. However, it is not at all about going out, getting crazy, and drinking too much.

The day celebrates the apron as well as the past generations of women who wore them and it was also created as a day to bring joy to the life of someone in need and celebrate the spirit of giving.

    NATIONAL JUKEBOX DAY

    NATIONAL CRANBERRY RELISH DAY

Maybe a sweet photo of Oliver would help, but not one of them drinking at Mousies.

The MRI did not happen. I was misinformed about the price. They want $6,000ºº for that.

We still saw the neurologist. She told me that QT either has Meningitis or a bran tumor. We are treating for the Meningitis. The tests with the neurologist cost $954.55.

Thank you all that have donated already. I think that i am covered for what i can do for her.

At this point i’m just waiting to see if the antibiotics are going to do anything.

    Thank you all again.

You’ve got to have a sign. Something like “Will tell sad cat stories for caviar.”

Nobody’s giving to such a worthy cause? What the heck is wrong with people? On another note, saw a spotted towhee, two sparrows, six chickadees, and three juncos while out walking today.

Good decision on Annie’s part to not mention Lily being out of liver pate!

I have Thanksgiving under control. Sarah was here most all day helping prepping side dishes. And cleaning up after prep. At 2 she drove me in for my nerve block, and waited to drive me home (about 4). I can’t drive for 24 hours. We got Mexican take out and came home. I made the brine then cooled it. She got the turkey out and in the bucket on the back porch. When the pans of brine were very cool I poured it over the and weighted it down. This process make a a juicy tender turkey, never dry.It will be 33 to 35° tonight so turkey is safe out there. At 7:30am I’ll wash Mr turkey 1st thing and get it in the nap a whilem
