What are you doing up so early?

Happy Thanksgiving Kitty People! I’m thankful I have all of you as my friends! We’ve been through a lot together over the years and it’s nice to know that I have friends who will laugh with me, cry with me and most importantly just listen to me.

Well Ches, only two of you are lazy slobs, the other 8 kitties are out chasing mice, soaking up sun and being decorative. ( that would be Lily).

I’m surprised Jack isn’t in his bed.

TURKEY FREE THANKSGIVING. My Thanksgiving will be turkey free. I’m baking a little one pound ham.

WOLFENOOT. Wolfenoot celebrates both the spirit of the wolf and kindness. It’s also a day that encourages people to be kind to animals, especially dogs as they are descendants of the wolf. Many people in the United States are gearing up for Thanksgiving. There are also many other holidays around this time, which include Kwanza, Hanukkah, and of course Christmas. But one holiday you may not have heard of yet is called Wolfenoot (pronounced wolf-a-noot). This holiday revolves around a wolf-like Santa clause that brings presents to humans. This “spirit of the wolf” especially likes those who are kind to dogs.

FIBONACCI DAY. Fibonacci Day honors Leonardo Bonacci, one of the most influential mathematicians of the Middle Ages. The date corresponds to the first numbers of the Fibonacci sequence – 1 1 2 3.Fibonacci is an Italian mathematician who is also known as Leonardo of Pisa and Leonardo Fibonacci. Some say Fibonacci invented the Fibonacci sequence. This pattern of counting means that each number is the sum of the previous two. (0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13, etc.)

To Happy, Happy, Happy, praying that antibiotics will help QT. I’ve lost 2 or 3 cats to suspected brain tumors. Doing an MRI to confirm the diagnosis was too costly to even talk about. Lovebug had neurological issues too and it is possible she had a brain tumor. The others were much longer ago. Oscar (3-23-12) and Ralph (10-30-17).

Jack must be in the loo.

Being horizontal for the ‘After-Breakfast Nap’ seems better than dozing off while staring at the TV following the other meals.

Glad that I don’t drive!

When a cat wants to sleep, the time is bedtime. They know what they are doing. Cats are professional sleepers who practice up to 16 hours per day.

Anytime is bedtime for cats. That’s kind of their thing. Happy Thanksgiving, by the way. On another note, saw a varied thrush and three Juncos while out walking today.

My cat sleeps all day, then wakes us up all night.
