Actually, as some religions believe, there are 3 options – Purgatory, which is the state of those who die in God’s friendship, assured of their eternal salvation, but who still have need of purification to enter into the happiness of heaven.
Lola will get in. Despite her faults, she has a big heart. Each and every one of us has faults. The last perfect person was crucified almost 2000 years ago, and I do not see stigmata in anyone else’s wrists or ankles.
Not to worry Lola, on your way out.. just say your sorry. And in case you go while sleeping perhaps a note in your PJ’s. It’s those other faiths that judge you on what kind of a person you were to determine what you’re being reincarnated as, next time around.
As an atheist, I’m not particularly worried about an afterlife, and the only judgements I care about are those of the people who I care for and who care for me. No interest in the judgement of any mythological supernatural entity.

It’s not about being a good person, Lola….Ephesians 2:8.

Lola’s still worried about whether she’s good enough for SANTA. Maybe she should hang up a smallish stocking, so she doesn’t appear greedy.

I’ve been told that there’s sort of a low-rent option.

It used to be called purgatory, but I think that’s Earth.
