Decorate it where it stands! The woodland creatures will appreciate that. :)

Every year my mother would request a little tree she could put on a table. Every year my Dad would buy the biggest tree he could fine. He’d drag it in and my mother would say " oh Harold" then she would cover it with tinsel, one strand at a time. They were married 67 years.

    Four in favor, one against.

    The eyes have it!

Even if their eyes are bigger than Dad’s stomach.

Well, if Dad hauls a few branches at a time, he can do the reassembly at home with some duct tape. Think of it as Ikea, but with fewer missing parts.

The light and shadow in the first (& last) panel is beautiful! The colors and angle from the right rear are so like a southern New England winter.

You are going to need a bigger saw.

You are going to need a bigger truck.

We have a 30 footer in our front yard. For the last few years we have invited our neighbours to contribute to the decorations. Had a big party about 2 weeks ago and a great afternoon. And now it’s all lit up and just gorgeous.

See the stumps in panel 3? Are those from previous years, or Dad cut each one down, then decided it wasn’t perfect?
