My sister and BIL spent several years in Quito Ecuador. He use to say that even though Ecuador was located right on the equator it was so high in the mountains that you still had all four seasons, but you had them every day of the year. During the night you had winter, in the morning as things warmed up you had spring, during the day you had summer and when things cooled off in the evening because of the thin air you had fall – leading back to winter as things got dark.
It snowed once when I lived in Charleston SC. I left a little later than usual to give the southerners time to finish crashing and sliding off the roads.

OK, I get the joke but Oaxaca does have some very high mountains where it does snow at times.

If you vacation in southeastern Mexico and spend most of your time just lying on the beach, you might come back with a Yucatan.

There’s a lot of snow in Mexico. (Usually hidden in cars, trucks, etc)

The snow-capped mountains might be called nevar-nevar land.

This is a snow-job, and I prefer their naked weathergirls, but mainly go there for the most ethnically and linguistically diverse state in México.

This is not very realistic. I have never seen a Mexican Meteorologist that looked like this ;)

Dinner bells ring, are you listening?
In the pot, mole is glistening
A beautiful sight
We’re happy tonight
Oaxacan in a mole wonderland
