I made a mistake like that once when I was asked to get up and make drinks for the group. I didn’t get it right (aren’t coffee grounds part of an aperitif?) and no one has asked me to mix drinks again. It sounds like a win-win to me.

In Austin they will not pick-up a bag that is not in your bin unless you have a $5 extra trash sticker on it and if you overfill your bin so the lid does not close they add $10 to your bill.

Most garbage collectors don’t have time to look into the bags, and in some locales, it probably violates some rule. Besides, crack open a heavy bag, and it might be full of pet waste.

I’m surprised Roscoe didn’t check it out already.

I had a friend with two teenage daughters who kept putting off and putting off the family holiday tree decoration. When they came home after a week of this, she had put “Christmas” in the dumpster. The sheepish teenagers retrieved the tree, ornaments and gifts and worked with Mom to put up the decorations.

Merry Christmas and a “learning experience” New Year!

Some peoples puts doggie’s backyard gifts in plastic bag and gives to garbage can.
