Took me a second to realise what was going on. I initially thought he had really bad BO and was looking for the confirmation.

I surprised the birds aren’t wearing glasses.

Although it’s not the situation here, I remember the cigarette smoke being so heavy in indoor public spaces that I would sometimes go outside in the winter to get away from it. Now we’ve chased the smokers outside, but where can the birds chase them to?

I knew a guy that would go down to the beach and smoke marajuana. He would blow the smoke at the shore birds.

Silent Secondhand Spring (see Rachel Carson). She was the first to widely publicize that DDT was so pervasive and deadly that the skies, which were once darkened with huge flocks, were becoming empty. She warned of a world without birdcalls, a “silent Spring”.

When I came to California in 1968, they were only 300 brown pelicans left in the world because DDT had made the shells of their eggs too fragile. Today, I might see that many in a single day in Morro Bay. We can make a difference to preserve Nature, if we act in time.

Wow Man!!!! That must be some really good weed. Let’s make it legal so we can get tax dollars to waste and all the young people can be more clueless than what they already are…….if that’s possible.

It was shortly after using the smoking room at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, that I gave up smoking.

They suffered from COmorbidities.
