I’ll assume the tall guy in the blue suit is the boss……I’ve had bosses that I wouldn’t waste the ink to sign a birthday card for.

Actually, it’s just a Post-it note… we didn’t have time to search for a card. Take from that what you will.

They used emojis.

No need to make “friends” plural in the caption.

So … no signatures?

Everybody must have written really, really, small.

Looks like they pulled out all the stops for one a them little cards that come with flowers!

At nuclear power plants it’s traditional to give anyone who’s been there more that 5 minutes and is now leaving a picture of the plant with everyone’s signatures/best wishes. I worked at a plant for 20 years and was constantly asked to help my coworkers with things well outside my job description. But only 1 person asked what it would take to keep me there and no one thought to do the picture thing. I was at my last job for 5 years and I got the little party, the picture, etc. and asked to stay longer. Completely different feeling.

It looks better than having two tiny signatures on a large card.

You can tell already, a lot of sentiment went into selecting that card.

A sign of the times, no doubt.
