Hot cocoa or broken bones mmm let me think?
GREEN! You gotta think about it?
I like cross country, it’s not as repetitive.
Next to the Expert Run sign, there’s one more sign: Emergency Room.
Run Away!
Also: “Rabbit Run” (In honor of John Updike)
Do they get that much snow in Venice?
I turned right, got to the lodge and put an elbow on the bar. To which the singing bartender replied
Put something on the bar besides your elbow,
Something like an old ten dollar bill.
I can’t put your elbow in the till.
The lodge sounds nice.
Usually the expert run is the one that goes straight down.
nowadays it’s called “going green”…!
Strangely, in the Washington Post, the rightmost sign read “snow covered sidewalk”. I wonder why.
Actually, easy is green, intermediate is blue, and expert is black.
Gondola it is!
Après-ski for me !
Love it! Thanks for the chuckle.
The right-hand sign is different in my paper! Why was it changed?
Just a note on arrows here. It’s obvious what ← and → mean, and almost everybody understands that ↑ means “straight ahead”, but do people really get that ↓ means “back the way you came”?
They just wanna take off their schuss and relax.
The really scary one is not signed, it’s only for the professional, called “The Runs” what happens to the amateurs that use it…
What happened to the snow covered sidewalk? Chicago Sun Times 12/29/2023
For a 2009 professional meeting in Steamboat Springs our sponsor levels ranged from “Black Diamond” down to “Meet Me By the Fireplace.”
Lodge is good…..
I love it! As a skiing enthusiast, I love it!
