I never realized how many comics make reference to that day’s national day until I stared reading the national day site. Today is indeed spouse’s day as well as peanut brittle day.
Hello all, another reader recommended that we read LIBERTY MEADOWS by Frank Cho. I did not know that Cho was on GoComics, and that he can draw in any style from Jack Kirby (Marvel) to Al Capp (Abner and Daisy Mae appear in Tuesday’s strip!) and Jeff Smith (Bone). Cho’s current series is in Bone mode, with funny animals and a human, excellent cartoon gags (including one straight out of a Tex Avery cartoon), great animation and character design. One of the best things about being on this site is learning about strips that I’d otherwise never see.
(Spouses, Nancy. Although you can explain why you included the apostrophe!). We are glad we have both of them, of course, because where would we be without Sirius and Floof, who we wouldn’t have without Stella and Shawm?
Love today’s cartoon: is so full of love and mischief. Love the comic detail with Little Fingers stealing their lunch. LOL. A classic from the old cartoon’s days!

I think poached eggs, toast and carrots might be Mr. Raccoon’s favorite too. Swiper, no swiping!
