It’s always an election year in VA, some are just bigger than others, mostly its background noise.

I’m starting to get the sense that this group would be all-in for arresting the opposition just because they don’t agree with you. Then the tables turn and you wail like a banshee when it’s done to you. I’d say I hope you get what you want, but you are taking us to a much darker place than any politician ever could.

Agree with Wiley on this one. It is easy to say ‘Happy New Year.’ And my wife and I say it with sincerity to all.

But this year it is followed with Buckle up, Friends. We’re in for a rough ride.

It will soon be time for me to record all the programs I watch so I can fast forward (or as we call it “trash compacting”) the political ads.

One of the GOP gubernatorial candidates is already telling us how the liberals allowed China to steal our jobs and sent them overseas. No mention of the board of directors and CEOs of the companies who made these decisions is cited in the commercial.

Also, the latest job creation figures are ignored.

He should wrap up the MAGA vote.

Seriously? The name of the watering hole is Twig & Berries?

For those that might not know, “twig & berries” is British slang for a certain part of the male anatomy. I’ll let you guess which part. :-)

“Happy New Year” is an aspiration rather than a prediction. It is possible to happy despite war, pestilence and elections.

It’s another chance to try it again. Maybe get it right this time.

The republican party has been lying to their base for so long now, they’ve finally achieved herd stupidity.

I ’ve been saying “Happy New Year, I hope”. In reality I have very little hope.

In 2024 about 4B are expected to vote. This will be the biggest year ever for elections and many countries like ours trying to preserve our democracy

I’m not too worried. Our democracy had survived threats by electoral means and non-electoral means from the same guy already.

Ah, like my trying to find an alternative to "MERRY"Christmas.

It’s also shaping up to be a climate “inflection” year, sea temps are spiking.

Is it just me, or does “Bob” look a lot like Richard Nixon?

We have a few months yet, before bloviating season is upon us.

My new year’s resolution is to wake up tomorrow every day for the whole year.

One thing that gives me the tinniest bit of hope and it’s not a good indication is the number of positive comments to negative. I have to believe that’s the majority of voters. Vote republican if you want, your choice, but just not trump. He has no redeeming qualities.
