A true story: the US government once took a survey asking partipants to rate events that stressed them most. One of the top scorers was ‘US government surveys’.

Very often can be a relative. I’m sort of seeing my-daughter-in-law, though thankfully I haven’t had to see her for 6 years.

Missing the Iron Maiden and “Do you have a rewards card?”

Because I transferred from a community college, my SATs weren’t an issue. I got into a four year college anyway! I still had to take the test, though.

Took the ACT instead cuz I heard it was easier….my score was 23 while the average was 18 that year….never did get to college,though…..

I wish I could have made a living taking standardized tests like the SAT. I found them a lot easier than anything else that has any impact on one’s life.

Why not a TV showing the news? That would count as an instrument of torture.

How about a dentist chair

I had no problem with the SATs. But that was long ago… maybe they’ve changed since then?

Never heard of an SAT that broke bones, caused blood loss or shredded flesh.

My son has his doctorate in statistics and heads up a research methodology center for a major university. I have to get this comic to him. He’ll get a kick out of it.

Of the ones on that list, I’d rather have the Stanford Achievement Tests. I might not do too well on them, but at least I won’t have to study for them, and I won’t have to worry about them causing me physical pain like the others.

What’s going on? This is the 3rd Sunday in a row the comic has been missing. Although, the December 31st one did show up a few days late.
