Saturdays were supposed to be my mow the lawn days, due to my weekday work hours. It seem to never fail it would rain nearly every weekend. Weekdays nearly every one blue sky and sunshine.
I remember seeing a statistical study that showed it actually rained more on the weekends. The cause was considered to be all the work activities, commuting, etc created particles that accumulated until they hit a critical mass that usually reached its peak at the end of the work week, it would rain, cleanse the air and restart the cycle.
Abby’s week is like most days here in Mexico during the rainy season. Every time I’m about ready to leave my apartment to take a nice invigorating walk or hang out at my favorite café, the sun disappears behind a bank of threatening dark clouds, and the rain begins to fall.

That was exactly my life during the 40 years I wasted in Michigan, and the number one reason I moved to Arizona. Rain be gone!
