Need to plant MORE trees to fall on the house, car and us. Neighbor loved trees, had a ton around house. They all fell down in a hurricane and they had to exit from a 2nd floor window. No more trees. Next door neighbor had 7 trees fall on house at once. The good part was the bad trees hit good trees in front so they fell slowly with little force as the good trees slowed them down and little damage to house, luckily. I’ve had mine taken down near the house.
When I read that a tree fell on a house with disastrous results… I put an extra set of bars on top of my baby’s crib. Not going into disturbing details. Just glad I had the means.
I have a huge beautiful pine near the house and twice in the last year large branches (20" in diameter at base) have come down, taking other branches with them. I’d hate to take the tree down but don’t want the house damaged.

What timing! We just had one of those storms a few days ago, and there were a few instances of the above situation in our area.
