We’ve all had those arguments with our pets.

I have frequently been colonized by cats. Its nice until the bathroom calls.

Your argument is illogical. Any bed a cat’s on becomes theirs.

Now it is.

Yes, it is. He just let’s you use it.

Yeah! That’s not how cats work! Next you’ll tell me that they sleep all day.

That’s what YOU think.

Yeah, that corner of the couch you sit in, see who it belongs to if you have to get up for 10 seconds!

They say important people have pull. That cat has push.

One morning I woke up with a heavy pressure on my chest. I thought I was having a heart attack. No, it was the 16# cat.

Years ago, we had a friend visit from Boston for NYE, and we all stayed at another friend’s house in NJ before heading to the Philly Mummer’s Parade the next day. Boston friend slept on their couch, and their Irish Setter got on it and kept gently nudging her during the night. By morning, she was rolled up into a tiny ball and the dog had stretched out on most of the couch.

Our cat, Franklin, sleeps with us, and regularly “Irish Setter’s” me to a small portion of my side of the bed while I sleep. And he’s only an 11 pound kitty.

Oh yes it is…

Ha!!! We have a clowder of 5. They consent to our presence if only to feed and groom them. And to service and maintain the Litter-bots.
