They weren’t even driving “Pierce Arrows”.
But now the cursor is stuck!
It’s hard to explain stuff that’s at the cutting edge.
And it hasn’t really progressed much beyond that to this day.
Them support folks not has talking manners back then.
Not that end, the other end!
The club advanced to the spear.
just hit command-Z…
Until they invent the glide pad… or in their case, the glide stone.
Eventually someone figured out that it’s better not to demonstrate how to use it on one another.
As Jon Snow said, “Stick ’em with the pointy end”.
And the big guy says “here, let me show you where to stick that”
Un-plug it and then plug it back in to see if it re-boots!
Evolution hasn’t done much for the current generation of tech support.
That whole valley is under water now.
I wouldn’t have stuck the big guy there.
Wait till they develop intercontinental ballistic spears!!
even a cave man can’t do it?
I love it when a comic gets right to the point.
Hey! Dat hurts!
Tech support: “What happened?” Me: “I was cleaning my bow and arrow and it went off!”
…and he does that to a huge thug who happens to be sporting a huge club??…(sounds about right for a “techie”!)
Don’t demo on the customer. He’ll never pay.
I’s just don’t understand them newfangled devices.
Ralphie’s ancestor. “You’ll poke your eye out, kid.”
B.C.I.T.
All these countless generations later and point and stick has become point and click. Have we come a long way, baby?
Reminds me of some jobs I’ve had
