Tim keeps using the terms stupidity and morons interchangeably. That’s an insult to associate people of low IQ with certain politicians and the people that vote for them.

If one plots the population density of these aliens against the incidence of election years, I’m certain one will find a very strong positive correlation.

It’s hard to say how galactic civilizations end. One of the reasons the Roman empire may have finally collapsed was due to the widespread use of lead in their plumbing (a major convenience).

For us, it might be too much convenient microplastic, forever chemicals, human-driven climate change, social media …

I’m offended by this, not everyone on social media is stoopid.

If I think something stupid and I know the people around me will mostly say, “That’s stupid,”then I am apt to keep my mouth shut.

If I say something stupid and find people all over the Internet who say, “Right on brother!!” we may even attract a few more.

(That is why I nearly never say anything intentionally stupid. So if it looks stupid and I said it, I probably am stupid.)

It would be nice if stupid came with a mandatory side of humility. These days, it seems people use it like a whiffle ball bat to bludgeon their opponents. The bigger the stupid, the louder the voice.
