Ted is finally realizing the depravity of the leftist mind.

Wait til he discovers how utterly devoid of morality they truly are…

From this cartoon alone, I’d think that Rall was on Team Status Quo. Team Netanyahu BTW can also be called Team Gaza Genocide.

I like the term Hamassholes for these moronic leftist protesters. They really think blocking roads is going to win over hearts and minds?

Protesters are a fickle bunch. Their cause of the month will soon lose popularity and the rest of us can carry on.

It’s the same people protesting over various issues. It’s not about the issue of the day. It’s about disrupting life of normal Americans just wanting to get to work or home or rushing a sick person to the hospital.

Division. Disruption. Hate. All tools of the Marxists pushing to destroy the country. And with little consequences coming from the Democrats. You don’t see a lot of this nonsense in areas that have law and order types in the prosecutor slots.

Neither 100% socialism nor 100% capitalism works well; from an Alex Mann blog on Quora …

“… Let’s look at where nations fall on capitalist vs socialist. 100% represents the whole economy and I will dictate roughly what percent is capitalist vs socialist. So a 50%/50% state is equally capitalist and socialist. This is a rough hand- keep that in mind.

    • Norway: 60% capitalist 40% socialist

    • Cuba: 10% capitalist 90% socialist

    • North Korea: 5% capitalist 95% socialist

    • South Korea: 70% capitalist 30% socialist

    • China: 50% capitalist 50% socialist

    ◦ Note that 40 years ago when China was one of the poorest nations on earth it was more like 20% capitalist 80% socialist. The massive uptick in Chinese wealth came after that adopted free-market reforms and open trade

    • USA: 80% capitalist 20% socialist

    • UK: 70% capitalist 30% socialist

    • Japan: 70% capitalist 30% socialist

You can kinda see a trend here. The more capitalist you are, the richer you areto a point. A 70/30 or 80/20 mix is the best. It has worked the best for the longest.

Look at Korea. There are 2 nations, of roughly equal size and one is rich while the other is poor. This largely is due to one being a hardcore socialist and the other being a modern capitalist state. …"

I have a lot of experience as a left activist, over many years, beginning in the mid-sixties. We used to have extensive discussions about what kind of actions were appropriate in various situations. I was mostly associated with pacifist groups, so non-violence was the first principle—but then there were debates about what counts as violence. In general we favoured actions where we were asserting our rights to do something, rather than preventing other people from doing things they had a right to do. But circumstances make a difference. I was in New York City after the Cambodia invasion and Kent State, and there was a massive school strike which took over the streets. I remember being part of a blockage of a major intersection, a sit-down strike, no violence (on our part), but the tactical squad broke it up quite violently, and a lot of people were injured by the police. These demonstrations had very widespread support. That always makes a difference. It’s foolish to undertake actions that will make your cause unpopular, but when you have popular support, then you can be more disruptive. I’m still a pacifist, however, and I stick to non-violent actions.

That “team Netanyahu” attitude seems to be widespread. Delaying me? Run ‘em over! They’re obviously guilty of the capital crime of inconvenient obstruction.

As for defacing art, I can’t comprehend why someone would intentionally damage art (like the Pieta). But recent acts have been aimed at defacing something around a piece; making a mess without damaging art.

“Two climate activists smeared red and black paint on the pedestal and plexiglass case of a sculpture in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., on April 27, the first instance of a climate-protest attack on artwork in the United States.

A man and a woman in dark suits poured paint on their hands and then smeared them on the base and protective case of “Little Dancer Aged Fourteen” by Edgar Degas at about 11 a.m. Police arrested them and cleared the gallery."

As protesters have said, “Are you more concerned about the protection of a painting or the protection of our planet and people?”.

“Team Netanyahu”? Most people know that Netanyahu’s policies are what brought this latest ‘war’, and that Hamas is a terrorist group.

(I admit that I was initially confused by the “Team Netanyahu” remark. Maybe I’m just slow, but I had to think for a while to realize that the person who says this is someone who missed his or her flight because of the demonstration, and has been so antagonized by the PITA demonstration that he or she now favours the other side, whatever it is.)

I was just thinking today of getting some friends together to pick up trash along the road with a banner “Ceasefire in Gaza now!” You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
