Especially when it’s February.

Garfield, find a D&D group that plays on Mondays, it made my Monday evenings much better.

Except for the coffee part. That’s good, and it’s early in the day—no waiting.

Maybe the best part of Monday is the end of it. But—hear me out—what if on a Leap Year, instead of just having an extra day in February, the day is repeated? (Some other calendars have intercalary months and they repeat the name of the month but modify it such as Adar and Adar II.) I’m informed February 29, falls on a Monday once every 28 years. Can you imagine Garfield’s reaction to going to sleep on Monday, February 28, and then waking up on Monday, February 28 (II)? Shades of Groundhog Day. :D

True. Even though I have a great job, and go to a great university, I dread going back after the weekend.

I have a rotational-schedule at my workplace — I’ll work five or six days in a row and then have off for two or three days. Sometimes, my “Saturday” or “Sunday” is on a Monday or my “Friday” will be on a Monday.

Jon should know better. Don’t bother Garfield on a Monday.

Except, of course, when Schmidt’s bakery puts out the fresh, hot donuts. There’s always that to look forward to.

I guess drawing that longer Sunday strip really tires out Davis and Garfield.

I’m with Garfield on this one. There is no definitive “best part” of any given day that applies to everyone. Anyone who claims to know what is the best part is a self-centered jerk with no consideration for other people’s feelings.

Garfield, according to the commercial, “The best part of waking up is Folger’s in your cup.” That would apply to Mondays as well.

Monday sucks from beginning to end. Plain and simple.

Put you head down under your blanket and plow through it! It a tough job and somebody’s got to do it, Mister!

For us retirees, every day is a Friday. Though as a preacher, Monday is like Friday to me.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.

Is leap year repeated every 28:th year? Yes, 1988, 2016 and 2044 are 29:th on Mondays! But, since 1900 isn’t a leap year, will that not change it? 1960 yes, 1932 yes, 1904 yes, 1876 no (should be). But, 1892 is, 1864 and 1836 also.

So, yes, it repeats with 28 years interval, IF leap year aren’t omitted for change of century!

2044+28+28 is 2100… And yes, it should be a Monday. 2112 is the first Monday in 21:st century. Yes, you can thank me later! :)
