The Principal hid in the eraser closet.

Now, a purple church? Does the Vicar know about that?

Some people NEVER grow up, Chalkie.

And called them Mental Health Days.

Everyone grows up. but the toys get more expensive

More and more as I get older, I find that not everyone remembers school in as much detail as I do. Some stare at me when I name every teacher I had, from Kindergarten on up- and a few that my bothers had. I remember many events of that Kindergarten year very clearly. I suspect that Chalkie remembers better than Andy does, and that Andy was about to start romanticizing and forgetting all the true parts.

And it’s said that people don’t change with age.

Loooong time ago, a teacher saw Andrew crying & asked why. Ten year old Andrew replied, “I have to stay in school until I’m 16!” She replied, “Shed some tears for me. I have to stay here until I’m 65!”

You may grow old, but you do not have to grow up.

I feel sorry for the teacher.

I remember when I became a cynic of education when my second-grade teacher gave me a 99 on an exam I aced. She explained that no one deserved 100 percent! That statement lasted with me for the rest of my life.

Andy’s teacher probably didn’t earn enough to put up with him.

Wow….a truant teacher…caused by Andy!

Nothing’s changed then except that now he is an annoying big troublemaker.

Knowing Andy, he probably dropped out at some point.
