Same place as usual, on the edge of bed, about to fall off, while the cats spread out and enjoy the center of the bed.

I took my cat on vacation and she was up all night. Back and forth between the beds and the window in the motel. She was too excited to sleep, and she had slept all day during the car ride.

At the head of the bed, curled in a ball, and at the foot ( and part of the middle) sprawled flatout. And if you try to stretch out, you’re liable to get bit.

Maybe she needs a room with two king sized beds?

    Today is:

NATIONAL PEANUT BUTTER DAY. My birds are enjoying the peanut butter suet cakes I’ve been putting out for them. I’ve seen downy woodpeckers enjoying them

    NATIONAL COMPLIMENT DAY

    LIBRARY SHELFIE DAY

BEER CAN APPRECIATION DAY. This day celebrate the first day in 1935 that beer was sold in cans.

Update on my Aunt Lois. I was pretty sure she was not going to live more than 24 hours after I heard what her condition was in the hospital. In fact, I think pretty much the entire family thought the same thing, but we were all wrong. I got a text from her granddaughter, Shannon last night. Shannon is the daughter of my cousin, Myra. I can’t remember how Shannon then relates to me. Second cousin? Anyways, Shannon told me that Aunt Lois told her Hospice nurse that she wants to go to rehab and get better. So, she must be gaining some strength. She’s an amazing lady!

Moose and Blackjack don’t need a bed. They’d spend part of the night playing zoomies and the other part just wandering around. No matter where I tried to sleep, both would find my legs. It’s not so bad with Moose on them – he’s only seven pounds. Blackjack comes in at 14 lbs so he gets pushed off pretty fast.

Yep, this makes perfect sense. Vacations are usually expensive anyway.

If I move, shifting four cats will be a major project. I foresee major screaming and howling.

Another reason cats rarely, if ever go on vacation if the ones I’ve known are anything to go by…some simply don’t like to travel.

Can’t say I blame cats. Sometimes, it feels good to just stay home. Still, if cats did take vacations, I wonder where they would go to. Maybe the Catskills or Kathmandu. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) On another note, saw four varied thrushes, a wren, and seven juncos while out walking today.
