Just shows how stupid the voting public is although neither of them is worth the waste of time in going to vote.

I dunno whether to hope that the orange error gets outed by the more “moderate” (hah!) Haley or not. If politics made any sense to me at all, maybe I’d know which is more likely to lose. They’re both incredibly bad people with incredibly bad ideas, but she’s at least somewhat sane, and I kinda hope somewhat willing to do the job as the Framers imagined it. He’s very clearly neither… but he’s sure got a loud and large cheering section.

None of the “challengers,” except Christie, were brave enough to speak the truth about Trump, afraid of irritating his “base.”

You know all those people who challenged him, even though they capitulated eventually, would be treated badly in Trump 2.0.

Has there ever been a less gracious politician than Trump, even in winning? And his crowd of MAGAs would have fit in cheering guillotine beheadings.

Oh, please. The HEAD of his party, and he can barely pull half the votes of his own party in two of the most Republican states in the Union. George W. Bush, when running for his second term, got 100% of the votes in Iowa, and nearly 80% of those in New Hampshire. This just shows how weak #45 is, when the only competitor he had was a woman of color in a party that will never vote for her!

If Trump runs and loses THIS election, is there anything in American law that would prevent him running in the next one? Something to look forward to.

The republican candidates are idiots. If they had a single brain among them, they would have disavowed trump loudly and often and run on their own platforms. Of course, they’d have to come up with a platform first, but that’s for another time.

What would have happened? They would have peeled votes from trump, maybe even made his core think twice and a not-trump would have won easily. Come November, the trump supporters would have come around and maybe delivered enough EV to win.

Now, it’s trump’s to lose, the other candidates are damaged for 2028 when trump will run (hopefully from prison) again.

‘Sweaty’ Trump’s ‘crazy talk’ is crippling his campaign: MSNBC host

Reflecting on Donald Trump’s less-then-impressive win in New Hampshire and his latest rallies that are being marred by his continual gaffes and rambling, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski claimed the former president’s re-election prospects are dimming.

‘So unappealing’: CNN panel wrecks Trump’s ‘mind boggling’ attacks on defeated rival

A CNN panel on Thursday expressed bewilderment at former President Donald Trump’s decision to launched scorched-Earth attacks on Nikki Haley despite handily defeating her in the 2024 New Hampshire Republican primary.

‘Obsessive’ Trump posted about E. Jean Carroll 37 times in 2 hours in late-night meltdown

Donald Trump spent two hours overnight posting smears and denials against author E. Jean Carroll ahead of his possible testimony in a defamation trial.

‘Horrified’ insiders don’t want ‘mentally unfit’ Trump on a stage with Haley: Morning JoeReacting to former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley® unleashing a surprisingly harsh attack on Donald Trump as the South Carolina primary looms, “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough claimed the former president is being hindered from firing back over fears he can’t be trusted to face off with her in a debate.

On Wednesday, Haley noted concerns about Trump’s mental state and suggested that is why he won’t debate her which the MSNBC host agreed with.

Listing off the former president’s gaffes which have plagued him over the past week — including Trump mistaking Haley with Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — Scarborough told co-host Mika Brzezinski , “He’s scared. He’s scared to debate because he doesn’t think — he just doesn’t think he can — I’m sure his campaign people are like we let him out on a stage in front of a teleprompter and he confuses Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi.”

“Barack Obama; he thinks Barack Obama is president of the United States, thinks he ran against him and beat him,” he continued.

    Trump is insane.

How loud will his cheering section be if he actually participates in a real time televised competency test of a debate against Haley? Will he think he is debating Pelosi?

The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr vows to ‘shut down’ Trump using band’s song at rallies

Guitarist and songwriter Johnny Marr was apparently taken aback upon seeing a video clip of the former president playing the English band’s song “Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want” at a 2023 rally in Rapid City, South Dakota.

“Ahh…right…OK. I never in a million years would’ve thought this could come to pass,” the British rocker wrote on social media Tuesday afternoon. “Consider this s– shut right down right now.”

Trump has reportedly used the song multiple times to warm up crowds ahead of his events — even as most recent as his final rally in Laconia, New Hampshire, on Monday.

The Smiths join a growing list of music stars — Steven Tyler, Rihanna and Linkin Park, to name a few — who have issued cease-and-desist directives to stop the MAGA leader from using their songs without permission.

In 2020, the Rolling Stones enlisted their performing arts agency, BMI, to launch legal action against the Trump campaign for playing the group’s 1969 classic “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” at the end of his speeches.

Trump is a mental right wing thief, artists hate him when he uses their material without permission.

Considering that his opponent was a junior welterweight at best and maybe only a flyweight it’s not too surprising. The sad thing is that a good middleweight might have beaten him on points. Given his normal cognitive state it’s hard to tell if he’s unconscious so a knockout is problematic.

Ex-Trump aide Peter Navarro sentenced to four months in jail for contempt of Congress

A federal judge in Washington DC has sentenced former Trump White House aide Peter Navarro to four months in jail and fined $9,500 for wilfully defying a subpoena issued by the House January 6 select committee in 2021.

Navarro is the second ex-Trump administration aide to receive a custodial sentence after being convicted of contempt of Congress. Former president Donald Trump’s onetime chief White House strategist, Steve Bannon, was sentenced to four months in jail last year but is appealing his sentence.

Carroll case judge lays out what Trump can’t say on stand — and orders him to stick to it

Before Donald Trump took the stand Thursday, Judge Lewis Kaplan outlined some ground rules.

Trump busted by E. Jean Carroll’s lawyer after whispering plan to break judge’s rules

U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan heard that former President Donald Trump planned to break his rules when testifying in a defamation trial.

It took Trump just 60 seconds to break judge’s rules on defamation trial stand

Within the first moments of being on the witness stand Thursday, Donald Trump broke the rules that Judge Lewis Kaplan had laid out for him to follow.

Right wing extremist Trump is a compulsive liar with no impulse control.

Belligerent lying moron criminal Trump can’t be trusted with anything, ever.

I am eager to see what the other 48 states primaries have to say. I think the vote of his base is going to shrink and wither as time goes along, and the GQP is going to be grasping for the alternative as a rescue from the debacle that is Trump.

Trump won NH by 11% and has 15 more delegates. The Trumpers are crowing that this is “double digits” which is BARELY accurate. The Iowa results are skewed because they include DeSantis.

The corporate (definitely NOT liberal) media has repeated this claim and they need to stop.
