This whole arc is ridiculous. No craftsman would hand the tools to a complete amateur. HE is the idiot here.

What did the artist THINK was going to happen? Not warm enough for him to have a meltdown now. :)

As oakle817, Drbarb71 and mistercatworks note, it makes absolutely no sense for the artist to have handed a chainsaw to Ed, or any other unskilled amateur… unless it was his intent from the get-go to have his work damaged or destroyed. That was my thought the first couple days of the week, that this is all some kind of “performance art” piece in which the artist creates a work and then deliberately has it destroyed by onlookers, creating an ironic statement. Think of that Banksy piece that sold for a pile of money and then passed itself through a shredder.

But then I realized this is Batiuk. Nothing that interesting will be allowed to happen.

And the suggested videos at the side are of him backing over some with a bus!

Anything that Ed does seems togoviral with in seconds!

Just TMI: Batty lives in Medina, Ohio, and each February Medina has a huge Ice Sculpture Festival. I’m pretty sure this arc is a take-off on that.
