Goldie playing Rodeo Queen, riding the mechanical Tortimer? While Ora Zella asks the big question. May I play in the glass? To no one’s surprise.

Do Tortimers eat glass?

OT: The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo has opened and runs for over two weeks. The Spurs have to play away games all that time, because a metric bonker’s ton of dirt is laid in the arena to provide the floor for bronco bustin’, barrel racing, etc., including kiddies riding on sheep. Yee-haw!

It’s the broom and dust pan in the closet from Warner Brothers.

With 5 cats, we always have a helper or two during clean-up.

I know I posted a comment shortly after this comic first appeared, but my comment seems to have disappeared.

I was just wondering if Goldie was trying to protect Tortimer or if she was trying to preserve the evidence.

Can I just admit, I LOVE TORTIMER!!! I’m always so excited when he shows up. I know, I’m easily amused…

I love how Goldie is using her (lovely striped) tail to protect the kittens and Girl.

I remember an incident from my elementary school days in which one of the kids asked the teacher, “Can I go to the bathroom?” and she said, “You can but you may not.” She taught us all to say “may I” and “please” and “thank you”, but this had to be one of the more mortifying moments to remind a kid.

Ishaq: Not to worry. It was created by the mighty Fe-Anaro, and you know that his creations are indestructible by ordinary means. Where is she now?

Puckmosis: I believe she and the Getting Better Kittens are rehearsing their dance numbers at the Happy Healthy Hospital Pyramid.

Ishaq: Tell me more.

Puck: She helps out at the Happy Healthy Pyramid, and got to know some of the kittens there. The ones who are well on the road to recovery created a dance company she leads.

Ishaq: How far is it?

Beatrixia: Not far. We can get there in a half hour if the Royal Horses are available.

Sometime Later

Ishaq: Thanks for the lift, Avenger. Have a bucket of oats on me.

Avenger: Any time, Ishaq. I’ll be in the paddock when you’re ready to go back.

Ishaq: So this is the dance company. And who is that white cat leading the choreography?

Lupinium: Ishaq! I’d know that headgear anywhere!

Ishaq: Loopy! Long time no see!

Goldie seems compelled to ride Tortimer. That’s so funny!

She’s got Ora Zella, the Girl, and Tortimer covered, but perhaps Iggy will sneak past her. It seems gravity is the culprit, unless they’re still withholding that information.

Ah yes, today Georgia has payed a lovely homage to the Jetsons, and Marvin the Martian with the automatic vacuum/cleaner, which automatically appeared whenever something broke.

And yes I know about robot vacuum’s, we have two, but they have to be directed to work and where to work. At no point did we witness the woman direct a robot to clean.

I thought the Girl was the one asking if she could go play in the glass, which honestly would not surprise me. The Girl and Ora Zella seem to be kindred spirits!

Goldie, I know you mean well, but you need to back off and let Tortimer do his job.

Project Uplift Frodo

Delay – due to inclimate weather in So. CA. the delivery of the acrylic tubes is delayed. UPS said it was out for delivery, but never came yesterday. Today status shows the parcel is in DOWNEY, CA. Which is strange, it means it came all the way to the HB process facility and then returned to Downey, CA. ? 25 miles away, because they couldn’t deliver it in the rain?

“Miss, I’m just trying to do my job.” – Tortimer, probably

I mean, she did ask politely. Why not?

It’s nice to see Tortimer make an appearance today!

And even after Tortimer finishes, the last cleaning needs to be with a wet, not damp but WET paper towel. Those tiny particles will stick to it. And always work from the edges to the center of the floor.

Isn’t that Tortimer’s job?

O.Z. is so cute wanting to play in dangerous things.

Goldie has taken the first responder role seriously. Delinquent kittens.

For Georgia and her litter box problem…..since all five cats are using one box, you can try importing a generous scoop of that litter to each of the other boxes. Then thoroughly clean that box and put all fresh litter in it. The idea is to attract them to the other boxes with a familiar scent. No guarantees but worth a try.
