Happy Valentines Day!

Even when you think you win, you lose.

OK, Morris, what have you done in the past to make Midge so suspicious ?/

Mrs tells me “NO FLOWERS!!!!” This year I didn’t listen. I bought her flowers. They are hand painted onto a silk Kimono.

I had the same reaction from a GF, I broke up with her. Too late for Morris.

I often buy my wife flowers as a surprise for no real reason other than I think she deserves them. It’s better than way because when she asks “oh, how come” I can say, “just because”. However when I buy them and I’m walking back to the car, you can see people looking and clearly thinking “I wonder what he’s done wrong”.

Not exactly the response you were looking for, huh, Morris?

I can see this reaction on a random Thursday, but c’mon Midge, get a grip. Did you forget it’s Valentine’s Day?

My wife says “Yay. Flowers from the grocery store.” But if I buy them from a florist, she says “What a waste of money!”

Morris went way overboard. Very suspicious.

In this case he can say, “Buy all this stuff for you for Valentine’s day”.

As my dad used to say, “you can’t win for losing.”
