I have some leftover mashed potatoes. I think I’ll make some potato pancakes to celebrate!

Looks like a sticky situation.

Seems just like yesterday when he was rolling in the batter with Ms. Butterworth!!!!

Well, I hope he brought some butter.

So, that’s why Aunt Jemima got cancelled.

Since when does syrup go with potato pancakes?

Wait till Mr. Butterworth finds out! He’ll slice Flapjack into pieces!

National Pancake Day goes with Shrove Tuesday which goes with Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday in English) which is the day before Ash Wednesday which is the first day of the season of Lent.

I’m making rice pancakes for dinner. Add cooked rice to the pancake batter before frying. Thick fluffy pancakes. A favorite my mom would make with leftover rice.

Now it’s Pearl Miller that his flirting with. Aunt Jemima has been sent down the memory hole.

Methinks Jack is about to get fried!

I’d say he’s a Hungry Jack pancake. About to be flipped out of the frying pan and into the fire. But perhaps he’ll butter her up and see if she’d be part of a short stack
