In my country we tend to call dummies by the name mannequins. So I figure that a book about mannequins might sell (however slowly) but a book written by a mannequin, for mannequins to read, might be a big money loser for the book store.
And then we have books that are dummies. Just blocks of wood that look like the spines of books, to make it look like you have actual books on your shelf.

If you happen into a book store or library you will find that the shelves are not actually labeled this way, but the content is.
